Green Day Pays Tribute

Green Day Pays Tribute

On December 12th the band, Green Day, dedicated their song, “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” to the victims from the Bay Area’s Ghost Ship innocent. Just a few weeks earlier, the Ghost Ship set fire at a warehouse killed 36 people. That warehouse used to hold many concerts. Green Day actually had one of their most memorable performances there. Billie Armstrong, the bands lead vocalist, gave his sympathy towards the victims and promising that their lives will never be forgotten. These are the thing that I love to hear after a tragedy happens. The band is telling everyone who was friends and family with them that they are not alone and everyone else is here to help. Just leaves you with a smile on you face at the end of the day, knowing that you are not alone.

J Cole Has Resurrected

J Cole Has Resurrected

After a long wait, Jermaine Cole has finally dropped his much anticipated album, “4 Your Eyez Only”. The rapper is usually known for his amazing beats and meaningful lyrics. I’m not personally the greatest J Cole fan, but I love to hear the meaning behind his lyrics. Growing up he had went through a lot and he pours his life into his tracks. My favorite album from him will always be “2014 Forest Hills Drive”. Where is has popular tracks like, “A Tale of 2 Citiez”, “G.O.M.D.”, “Love Yourz”, and “No Role Modelz”.

The music found on his new release isn’t much like he’s done before. In this instance he ended up using instruments in all of the tracks on the album. The beats for his much gradually grew and stood out towards the end. If you’re a fan of J Cole, it is definitely worth checking out.

Luv Is Rage 2?

Luv Is Rage 2?

The recently new up and coming artist, Lil Uzi Vert, dropping some hints for yet another album for 2017. Despite the drop of his album, 1017 vs. The World, he has plans to come out with another Luv Is Rage mixtape. Luv Is Rage was Uzi’s third album released on October 30, 2015 by Generation Now and Atlantic Records. If this drop is anything like the last prequel, everyone should be having high expectations for Luv Is Rage 2.

Saint Pablo Tour Cancelled

As of November 17th, Kanye West was performing in San Jose. The music was randomly stopped and turned into a twenty-five minutes Kanye West rant about politics. Exclaiming that he did not vote in the most recent Presidential election, however if he were to have voted, his vote would have gone to Donald Trump. The crowd starting an outburst and interrupting his performance. Only two days later, he had a performance north of San Jose in Sacramento. Just three tracks into the concert, Mr. West began to go on a rant yet again. This resulted in him ended the show and walking off stage. Effective immediately, he made the decision to cancelled the remaining twenty-one shows left on his Saint Pablo Tour.

Dead & Co. Touring In 2017

If you’re looking for something to do next summer. Or trying to have just the greatest time of your life, then you should buy tickets for one of Dead and Company’s concerts while they are on tour in summer 2017. Last summer their tour was of great successful. After not going on tour for quite some time people flocked from all over the country just to see them. I went to see them at Alpine Valley and it was the best concert I’ve ever seen. While I was there I met the nicest people, it just a very welcoming and great experience.

As of the first of December, John Mayor gave the hint to all his fans tweeting, “MMXVII” and a picture of the famous, “Steal Your Face” Grateful Dead logo. The Roman numerals indicate 2017, indicating that they will for sure be going on tour. The tour won’t be in their usual stops. Playing in more luxurious venues, but anywhere you go, you’re going to get the same great experience. They will be playing in Chicago, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Mountain View, West Valley City, Boulder, Atlanta, Burgettstown, Boston, New York, Camden, and Cuyahoga Falls.

And if none of you have never even heard them before, here you go:

“Not in This Lifetime”

“Not in This Lifetime”

If you haven’t heard of Guns N’ Roses before you are either deaf or have been living under a rock. As one of the greatest rock bands of all time, the band announced that their tour, “Not in This Lifetime”,  will be happening in the summer of 2017. If that wasn’t exciting enough, they will be returning with Slash (ex-guitarist). They plan on touring in Europe in addition to North America. From May 27th-July 15th they will begin in Europe in Dublin and end in Israel. Beginning July 27th, they kick off the North American tour in St Louis and will play in 15 more cities across North America.

I recommend if you want to witness history and hear one of the greatest rock bands of all time you should go. If that wasn’t enough to sell it, you will also have the opportunity to witness one of the greatest guitarists of all time, comparable to that of Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. Go grab your tickets on the 10th of December. Now, Don’t Cry, buy your tickets so you can be Knockin on Heaven’s Door, enter into Paradise City and witness a phenomenal performance.
